Okay so I know a lot has happened since my last post, such as Halloween, Taytum's 2nd Birthday, Thanksgiving, and who knows what else, but I do have it all recorded in a journal....somewhere. So let me try and catch up on here and then we will get to the most intense, smelly, and tiring training I have ever been involved in....potty training!
So Halloween, Taytum was a penguin! You might think that is random but she has a weird thing for pengiuns, always has. Somehow we have managed to collect more than enough stuffed animals in the last 2 years, and a chunk of those are penguins. Only one of them is cute too, but that is beside the point. Taytum was a very cute penguin and learned how to say trick or treat! It was awesome! Finnley was a lady bug, the reason for that is because I saw a costume at Costco and thought that would be cute, comfy, and warm, so I bought it. Let's just say Halloween is on the top of my least favorite holidays. I don't know why exactly, I guess because it was always freezing, scary, and I ate to much candy which lead to stomach and tooth aches. But it is different now that I have two little ones I get to dress up for.
Next, Taytum's Birthday, well I can't believe she is 2 in wo ways. I can't believe she is only 2 in some ways and that she is already 2 in others. She does so much it is crazy! We spent her b-day in Cedar because Zach's Grandma June passed away and her funeral was that day. So we went to that and she managed to put on a show even at the funeral. She was with me on the stage singing and then decided she had had enought of that, so she marched on down the stairs and strutted up the aisle to get to my mom in the very back. You could help but laugh. So we had a Dora cake and ice cream, which she loved, she blew out the candle, which she loved, but mostly she loved everyone singing to her. She loves attention! We got her a dog named Hogan and she goes crazy for him. They have a love-hate relationship. I will see her kicking him and then kissing him in the span of 30 seconds. He bites her a little and then licks her to death so it goes both ways.
Next, Finnley is now 6 1/2 months and is a golden child! She is so so nice! She rolls over, sits up, and is extremely alert. She loves to blow bubbles and her voice is really deep. I am so excited to see her personality begin to come out. It blows me away how unique each person is, especially siblings. I mean how does that happen? Taytum and Finnley look very much alike in there structure but have very different features. Finn is tan and dark eyes, Taytum is lighter and bright blue eyes and their hair color and texture is way different! It's just another sign to me of how little I really have to do with anything! It's all up to the Man upstairs.
Okay Thanksgiving, worst of my life for multiple reasons which I will not go into all of them.... but basically lots of family pictures and lots of puking. That pretty much sums up the weekend! I lost 6lbs in a span of 3 days, and Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday! So yeah I was not super grateful this year, but all joking aside, I truly am blessed. I have a wonderful family that I love deeply and that love's me back. Really what else is there? So now we will move forward to my 5 year anniversary coming up, and Christmas! Hope everyone has a great Holiday Season's and can practice the true meaning of Christmas!

I almost forgot to mention the potty training. Well Taytum just turned 2 so I was thinking it was a little early to worry about it but she keeps telling me she wants to "poop in the toilet" or "potty outside" with the dog, so I figured, I better not hold her back. We started yesterday morning and have 0 potty's or poop's in the toilet and about 4 accident's. Today she wanted to go on the toilet and then told me that I should leave and to shut the door. So I did and I went back in about a minute later and she had climbed on the toilet and got nail polish and was back on the floor painting her toes! The amazing thing was, she didn't spill at all, and actually got most of it on her toes! After that she told me that I needed to go potty, so I put her diaper back on and called it a day!

Taytum has been sick with the croup the last 4 or 5 days, so we have been spending a lot of time in "mommy's bed" watching Dora (Taytum's favorite). So I could blame her hair on that, but it actually looks like that about everytime she wakes up, even from her naps. I'm not quite sure what she does in that bed but her hair ends up in a huge rats nest, sticking straight out. I have to soak it with water just to tame it a little!

Finnley on the other hand has no hair and pulls headbands over her eyes, so thank goodness it's getting cool enough for beanies, which I love! I just took her to the doctor and she is 92% in height and 75% in weight. To be honest I thought for sure she would be off the charts in weight! I wonder what a baby that is 100% in weight looks like, cause Finner's is CHUNKY, just the way I like babies!

Does anyone else ever get sad when they realize that their baby is now a little kid? Cause I took this picture of Taytum today and thought she is going to be graduating high school before I know it. Sometimes I have sad moments when I think how fast time has gone and is going. I wish I could just put everything into slow motion so I don't miss it. Anyways maybe I am weird, but I keep thinking, she will go to preschool when she is 4 that is in 2 years, she is going to be 2 in about 15 days, that went fast. Then she will be in grade school, and then she will be 18 and move out. So I guess what I am trying to say is even though I have never been so tired, sleep deprived, and busy in my life, it's going to be over soon, so enjoy everyday because you can't push rewind!

So I have been a little busy, with the usual stuff, diapers, feeding, bathing, cleaning, but also I have opened up a side of me I was unaware of, craftiness! Well it may not be crafty for most, but for me it is. So here are a few of the items I have been working on.

Summer where have you gone?

Well this summer, like all summer's, flew on by and left me wishing I wouldn't have waisted one second of the nice weather. I love the Fall though, but it appears that may have come and gone as well. I love the weather in the fall, the sports, the leaves, the food, and just the feeling that the Holidays are just around the corner. Today I am sitting at my house with the strangest feeling, Zach took Taytum to Cedar and so it is just me and my little Finn. She is so quiet that sometimes I forget she is here. I haven't had this much silence since November 5th 2009, Taytum's birth. I love that girl more than you know but she is LOUD! I don't know where she gets it, really I don't think I am loud and I know Zach isn't, so just another mystery. So far Taytum and Finnley are opposites. Taytum has bright blue eyes, white hair, light skin, and more spunk than anyone ever! Finnley is dark hair, dark eyes, dark skin, and the most mellow baby! They love each other though! Taytum will grab Finnley's hands and say patty cake super slow, then roll it, also slow, then she mumbles some stuff and tickles Finnley's belly. Finn just laughs and stares at Taytum. The other night Tay decided she wanted to read Finn a book, so we sat them down and she started "reading", during her story she decided to count, and counted from 5-10 perfectly! It was amazing, she had never counted before!
I like to call Taytum my almost 2 year old Teenager because she acts like she's about 16. She always wants to get in the car and go "dribin" and she will put her sunglasses on, her purse on her shoulder, and talk on her cell phone. She mostly says, "hello, umm, yeah, umm, okay, umm, sure" etc..., it is really funny! If I ever figure out how to put a video on here I will. She helps me clean up the house with her mini dyson, and if she spills anything she wipes it up, with her shirt! haha I love this little gal and I can't believe how fun she is. Finn is so much fun too! I love babies! I love everything about them except the sleeping through the night. I love the way they smell, the way they giggle, cuddle, smile, and stare. I seriously get sad when I think about how fast the two of them are growing up. I didn't think I would be like this with kids, but I am a big time softy!
I have been spending most of my spare time, between diapers, feeding, cleaning, repeat.. making signs. I am liking it, not loving it yet. I have always wanted to design shoes and other things to do with sports so this crafty stuff isn't really coming naturally. Anyways enough about that. We love it in Kaysville and are so happy to be here. Zach got a different job and is now working with Grainger and is super excited about that. I am going to start reffing basketball in about a month and can't wait to get involved more with sports up here. Taytum will be 2 in a few weeks and I cannot believe it! Finnley is 4 months and growing like a weed! So overall we are doing well and enjoying this crazy, busy time in our lives!

So I know it has been a long time since I blogged but before you judge me, let me explain what I have been doing. January we moved to Denver, I lived there until the end of April when Zach found out he was being transferred to Salt Lake, so I moved to Cedar to have Finnley which happened May 26th. Zach moved to Salt Lake May 15th. So my dad flew out the end of April and drove me home just in time for my Uncle's Funeral. So Zach packed up everything and drove out to Salt Lake and moved in with his brother Dave. I stayed at my mom and dad's house and went back to Laurie Hansen to deliver Finnley. I was so glad to have her as my midwife! I was induced on Thursday morning at 4 a.m. and had a pretty good labor and delivered a 7 pound 8 ounce, beautiful girl at 2:15 p.m. We named her Finnley Vernon, no middle name and I just heard the name and it grew on me so that's how we got it. One week later I moved myself and my two daughters to Salt Lake to be with Zach. We just got into our apartment on the 15th of July, we blessed Finnley in Cedar on the third of July and celebrated the fourth in Kanarraville. So that is the short version of the last 6 months. Needless to say I have changed more diapers than I care to count, gotten up in the night for who knows how long, and been pooped, peed, and spit up on a few times......... but what are mothers for right? I love every day! I didn't say every minute of every day..... but every day my beautiful daughters bring me more joy and laughter than I thought possible. I have never been more exhausted in my life but every day I look forward to seeing my kids and wondering what are they going to do today that will amaze me! So without further ado..... the two most beautiful girls in the world!

33.5 Weeks!

Well I have had a couple of requests for belly pictures, so here is one! I had Zach take it last night and I am almost 34 weeks.
My first pregnancy I gained about 60 pounds! hahaha Yeah I know it was a lot! This time around, due to a toddler, I have gained under half of that! So the baby is probably not going to be a giant like Taytum but healthy, so far! Although I do still have 6 weeks to pack it on, and believe me I can pack it quick!

I saw these shoes and I had to get them. As many of you may know I am obsessed with shoes! I have somehow contained myself with buying Taytum every pair of shoes I see, but I couldn't do it anymore. Also when I am pregnant I don't want to buy any clothes for me, but shoes they always make me feel good. So that is a quick little update on my babies progress. I am excited and nervous to have another newborn. I love being a mom, I didn't say it was easy being a mom, but I do love it!

What a Trip!

Okay, so these pictures are kind of random. I got a hold of my dad's camera and took some of the pictures off of it. These pictures are of the last few months. A lot happened so I will just briefly give a discription. So the Cabin pictures are from January, my dad, Zach, Wade, and Adrian went to our cabin in Navajo to remove the snow off of the roof. As you can tell there was a lot of it! It took them all day to clear it off and when they got home they were all exhausted. Glad I didn't go on this trip!

When we were up in Salt Lake for Taytum's Polypectomy, Zach was in town for Brooke's Wedding. We went to La Frontera, my dad had been raving about it for a few months so we decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed. It was great food and a very interesting environment.

The Reception was pretty stressful. Brooke wanted the ceiling dropped and unfortunately it didn't go as smoothly as planned. But in the end, it all worked out and everyone helped a ton. It turned out beautiful.

These pictures are from Brooke's wedding day at the temple and also at the reception. I think I was about 25 weeks pregnant at this point, so not the ideal picture taking body. But I think everyone else looks great!

So there is a quick recap of our past few months. Well March 13th I dropped Zach off at the airport for Florida and I headed home to Cedar! It took us 11 hours to get there but was well worth it. We spent two weeks in Utah and had a great time! We went to the twins, and Spencer's basedball tourney in St. George. Taytum ate a lot of dirt and sunflower seeds! Then the Vernon's had Geoff and Patty, Dave and Britt, and Cara and her kids. So we spent a lot of time up there playing with cousins. Taytum had a great time! Also we can't forget it is my favorite time of year, MARCH MADNESS! I seriously love this time of year, even more than any holiday! Call me crazy, but the drama, excitement, and upsets just have me counting down the days until March Madness begins! BYU went to the sweet sixteen this year, although they are not my team, it was fun to watch Jimmer Fredette become a superstar, and one of my old friends Logan playing on such a big stage! Anyway back to the trip! It was my dad's birthday, he wouldn't tell me how old he is, and we had a picnic in St. George. McKell and Ben, JaCoy and Ben, Wade and Sarah, Grandma Barbara and Mike, John and Claude, and myself were there. It was a lot of fun to have everyone together! So the following week my mom and I went to Las Vegas to see JaCoy and get some sun. Unfortunately it wasn't too sunny but it was better than the snow. Thursday we drove home and Friday we picked Zach up from the airport.
Zach's trip was not quite as good as mine was. He got an ear infection on day 2 of his trip, which eventually led to pneumonia! When I picked him up on Friday, I had never seen anyone look so sick! I felt horrible for not realizing how sick he had been. He had to go to the ER and get an IV and then get on antibiotics. So the next few days I tried to be the best nurse I could, and of course Taytum started throwing up Friday night! It was an exhausting weekend for all of us. I didn't think that at 31 weeks into my pregnancy I would be the healthiest and most comfortable one in the family! Thank goodness both of them have made miraculous recoveries and we are all doing much better!
I went to the doctor for the first time in 10 weeks, and I have to get another ultrasound because the baby wasn't very big at the first one. So hopefully she is okay! I think we are going to name her Finley, but we still aren't a 100% sure. Anyhow, that is what's going on here in Thornton Colorado! As my Grandpa Rowan would always say, "Life is a continual round of pleasure!"

It's been a while!

Sorry it has been so long! I think you will be sympathetic after I explain all that has happened in the last 2-3 months! So last time I blogged it was Taytum's 1st Birthday! We had a great time and she was very funny as usual. Since then we had Thanksgiving which we spent at my Grandma Barbara's, and if you've ever eaten anything of hers you know we had a great Thanksgiving. Wade and Sarah, and Mike and Terri were there, so it was small but very enjoyable. We ate and slept, then ate some more, and watched football, you know the usual activities of a Thanksgiving day! After that was Christmas prep, and I started to work at Sports Authority for seasonal. It was a busy, busy month, but we made it and had a great Christmas with my family. We always have a Christmas Eve party at the Church with family and close friends. We eat, play basketball, have a live nativity, and enjoy being together! Taytum had a good time with all of her cousins and seems to be bossing them around more than anything. She is definitely a firecracker! Good thing she is so cute, otherwise I don't think she would get away with it.

After Christmas was time to gear up for the Wedding! So my sister's and I had a Bridal Shower for Brooke at my Aunt's house. It turned out to be really fun and she got a lot of nice things. In the meantime, Zach was still searching for a job and had been disappointed on a few prospects. Until the middle of January, he decided to take a job offer in Denver with Lincare. So he moved right away and I stayed in Cedar to help with the Wedding and continue coaching the Freshman girls basketball team.

So at my parent's house, we had Brooke, me, Taytum, Adrian (Grant's younger brother), and my parents all living there. It was hectic for everyone! I was busy packing and trying to help with the wedding but it's not easy to do either one of those when you have a rambunctious 1 year old trying to get her hands on everything and then everything going directly to the mouth! Also I had to take Taytum to Salt Lake to get her surgery on January 20th. We stayed with McKell and Ben and my brother Zach was in town. It was fun, aside from the surgery, but that turned out to go well. She had a polyp and they removed it, she hasn't had any problems since. I had been dealing with this for over half of her life and now it is finally resolved! What a relief that has been! She was an angel and all of the nurses and doctors wanting to keep her. She recovered quickly and is as healthy as ever!
Anyways, back to the wedding. Everyone came that weekend to help set up, which was a disaster, until it was finished. It looked amazing and everything came together right at the end, which it usually does. Zach flew in Friday night, Brooke got sealed Saturday morning, had a reception that night, and we packed up Sunday morning and drove to Denver. So here we are, in Denver, so far it has been cold and lonely for me, but each day gets better. I have never been away from home, so that part has definitely been the hardest. I think we will really enjoy it here and I am looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends. This past weekend was Zach's Birthday so we went out for a nice dinner, and then of course yesterday was Valentine's day, Zach made me a nice steak and shrimp dinner. So it was a wonderful day and I love him more now then ever! So that is our life, busy, but wonderful!

One Year Old and Wise Too!

It feels like only yesterday that I was 9 months pregnant and anticipating becoming a mother. Now it's been 1 year since Taytum's birth! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. Now I know what everybody means when they say you'll blink and they'll be graduating high school. If every year goes this fast I'll be ninety in a couple of blinks. Well Taytum is the cutest and happies one year old I have ever known. She loves people, (except men) and is always so happy and cheerful. She makes everyone smile because she is always smiling or gigling or doing something funny. I love her so much and cannot imagine my life without her. I often wonder, what did I do before I had a kid? Where did all of my time go? I know whatever I was doing was not nearly as important/rewarding as what I'm doing now.

Anyways enough about how great my child is, hehe, Zach and I are still in Cedar for a few more months at least. Zach has gotten a few prospects in Denver for jobs. So I think we will be heading that way soon. I am excited to move but also sad to be away from my family. My mom broke her ankle really bad 2 weeks ago so I have been able to take care of her. She is used to being very independent and I think it's been hard on her to have to slow down a little. She has been a really good patient besides her wanting to get up and go on her own all the time. The doctor told her one more week before she could put any weight on it, so hopefully she won't go to crazy! I am done coaching soccer and am gearing up for basketball tomorrow! I'm super excited for this year because the seniors are the girls I coached my first year. It's been great to watch them grow and progress as basketball players and as people. I love to coach, it's the next best thing to playing! So hopefully it will be a successful and a fun year! Crawling.... How did this happen?

Well it's happened, I don't know how it snuck up on me so fast, but Taytum has gone mobile. She crawls all over, if you can call what she does crawling! It's kind of like a Tarzan move, with a knee down and the other leg in front, kicking and pulling. It's pretty funny actually, but she gets where she's going, it just takes a while. She is so fun to watch grow and learn new things everyday.

Taytum's best friend, well one of them. She likes pretty much anything soft and furry, especially penguins.

As you can tell Taytum loves her dad, her teddy, and food. She eats like a grown man but doesn't gain much weight. Hopefully she will keep that metabolism forever! Well I just had my 24th birthday last week and we went to Vegas to stay with my sister. Zach had to take the GMAT (thank goodness that's over) and I got to spend time with JaCoy and the kids. I'm so glad they are close now! I have been coaching soccer at Cedar High, and I love it. I love to be around the girls and of course any sporting event count me in. Zach is just searching for jobs and applying for his doctorate, so who knows what's in store for us. Life is great though and I am so blessed to have such and amazing family! I was planning on writing a longer post but Taytum is screaming in her crib because of overexhaustion. Yay! So I better end here!

Little Scare

Well a lot has happened lately with us. Taytum had a little scare for the past 3 weeks. First it started out with blood in her stool so I took her to the doctor and they said it was probably just a cut or something. So a week after that I changed her dirty diaper and part of her rectum was sticking out. Of course I flipped out and took her into the doctor that day. They couldn't figure out what was wrong and to make a long story short I took her to several doctors and FINALLY got her in at Primary Childrens and they said it was a rectal prolapse and that everything would be fine! So after a month of serious stressing and serious praying our little angel is healthy!

Other than that we have been super busy with traveling and camping and everything thing else that goes along with summer. It has flown by as usual but for the first time, since I can remember I don't have to go back to school! WOO WOOO! So I get to hang out with my baby and my babe (Zach) so I feel like I am the luckiest gal in the world.

I still haven't gotten this whole blogging thing down so my posts are a little out of chronological order but oh well. So today is the 4th of July obviously and my wonderful sister JaCoy got Taytum this dress and headband for the 4th. Also she took some great pictures of her! So here are a couple! Isn't she the cutest little flag you've ever seen! Man I love her! So we also celebrated my Grandma Barbara's 80th birthday today up at my aunt Terri's! It was a great time! Great food, great people, and an amazing women! I love my Grandma very much and anyone that knows her, loves her too! Hope she is around for a lot more of these birthdays!

Well it has been a while since my last post! I cannot believe how time goes by so quickly. So since Mother's day a lot has gone on. Last week was the Utah Summer Games which I had been looking forward to for about a year now. Last year I couldn't play because I was pregnant so I couldn't wait to play this year! It was great! I miss basketball a lot because it was pretty much my life since I could walk! The competition this year was great and I enjoyed playing and watching others play! We went 2-2 which was unfortunate but they were all great games! I have also been playing every wednesday with some ladies at a church and that has been a blast! We all just pack our kids with us and set them up to play and we go for it! I don't have any pictures of the summer games because I'm not good at remembering a camera unless Taytum is involved!

So this weekend was the Bauer family reunion, which was in Deer Haven this year! It was a great time! Except.... Taytum apparently hates sleeping in a camp trailer and not her own crib. So she decided not to sleep for the majority of the night! Other than that it was great! Zach is such a camper, he brought a teepy and trailer and everything else you would ever think to need! So I have pictures of that.

Well there you have it! Pretty much the highlights of the summer so far, well atleast the ones I can remember, and I don't have a great memory anymore, I blame it on the baby! Happy 4th of July! We live in a great country and have amazing people fighting everyday for our Freedom! Thank you!

Well this past Sunday was my first real mother's day! I have to say it is the best calling I have had in this life! Zach and I went to our new ward and a talk was given about mothers. One of the stories was called a mothers job description. This was my favorite because it is so true.
POSITION: Mother, Mom, Mama

JOB DESCRIPTION: Long term, team players needed, for challenging permanent work in an often chaotic environment.

Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call.

Some overnight travel required, including trips to primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in far away cities. Travel expenses not reimbursed. Extensive courier duties also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The rest of your life. Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs $5.
Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly. Also, must possess the physical stamina of a pack mule and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three sec onds flat in case, this time, the screams from the backyard are not someone just crying wolf.
Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges, such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets and stuck zippers.

So why do we do it? For me it is for every time Taytum looks up at me and smiles, every time I get to hold her while she's sleeping and give her kisses and hugs, to watch her learn and grow every single day. I do it because I love being a mom! I also want to thank my mom for all that she does and has done for me! I don't think you realize how much your parents love you until you are one! So to every mother out there be grateful that God has given you a chance to love and care for one of His children! Enjoy every moment because the moments will pass quickly!

Yes you read that right, McKell got married! It was a wonderful wedding, beautiful weather, flowers, and bride ofcourse. McKell married Ben Lowe from Salt Lake. They have been dating for about 4 years so it was a long time coming. It was a great weekend that we were able to be with so much family. They are now on their honeymoon to Thailand for 2 weeks!

This past weekend was Zach's graduation. He got his MBA from SUU! It took a lot of hard work and long hours but he did a great job! Now if there were only jobs available! We are so proud of him for continuing with his education! Also he got released from the Bishopric 2 weeks ago. So these past few weeks have been full of excitement and lots of events! I'm excited to have someone to sit by at church now!

So Taytum is now 5 1/2 months old! It is so crazy that she is already so big. These are a few pictures of Taytum eating and as usual she is smiling! I can honestly say I have never seen a happier baby! She is so so precious! We love her so much. About 2 weeks ago Taytum sat up all by herself! She gets so excited and starts flailing her arms around and then she tips over. It is so funny. She has the prettiest blue eyes and has amazing control of her eyebrows. I'm afraid she will be able to get what she wants because of the looks that she gives! So last night I had her on her stomach in the living room. I knew she was getting close to rolling over for the first time so I went and got my video camera to capture this monumental moment. Of course the tape was out of time so I put a new disc in and went back in the living room. Taytum was on her back! I missed it! I was so sad! So I got her to do it again and as soon as I can figure out how to put video on here you can all see it! Well life is awesome! I am greatly blessed!

Last Friday was our first and last trip to Brian Head this year! It's a bit more difficult to find time to go when you have a baby but we really had a great time! It was a beautiful day as you can tell by the picture! I love spending time with Zach doing things that we both enjoy. I am so glad that we can still do things together! Zach is super good at snowboarding so it's fun to watch. I'm not near as daring, I use the excuse that I'm a mother now and I have to be careful, but really I am just scared! haha

4 Months!

Taytum will be 4 months old tomorrow! I cannot believe it! It has been an awesome experience thus far and I look forward to every day I get to be a mother! Sometimes it is difficult but it is so worth it. I can be so mad at anything and then all of the sudden she will smile at me and everything is great again! Zach is such a great father and helps me so much! I have been substituting for Mrs. Langston for 3 weeks now and I have 3 to go. So it has been hard leaving in the mornings but I think Zach has enjoyed his time spent with our daughter! We are both so busy and don't get to see each other much but that will hopefully change when Zach is done with school in 7 weeks. He is getting his MBA right now and is super busy with that! Sorry I don't have pictures in this post but I will get some soon!

Taytum is now 2 and 1/2 months old! I cannot believe how the time has flown by! She is so much fun! Every day I am amazed at how much she grows and how much she learns. She started smiling at me about 3 weeks ago and that is the greatest feeling ever! I love to play with her and cuddle with her. She is the greatest joy in our lives! I had her pictures taken by Tiffany Drury when she was just over 2 weeks old. I am so glad that I did because she has already changed so much! I love the basketball picture because she looks like she wants to tell me that she doesn't want to play basketball! hahaha. Anyways Zach and I are very very blessed with such a beautiful baby girl! She is so good!

Zach is in his last semester of his MBA program and will graduate in May! Then he will start to look for some place to get his doctorate! Hopefully somewhere warm! I finished with all of my schooling and am now a licensed secondary teacher. I have substituted once but I am going to sub and the middle school for Mrs. Langston when she has her baby! I am currently coaching the Cedar High Freshman Girls basketball team with Anne Westwood Higbee! It is a blast! We have a great group of girls and I enjoy teaching the sport I love so much! Taytum just travels all around with me to the games and enjoys sleeping to the sound of the band and the crowd! I couldn't have asked for a better baby! Well we had Taytum blessed on the 27th of December and Zach did a great job! It is a moment I have always looked forward to and it was a great spiritual meeting! I am truly blessed with such an amazing family! I will get some pictures up soon of the blessing and all of my family that was in town!

3 AMAZING YEARS!

Well yesterday was our 3rd Anniversary! Crazy how the time has flown. I have to say it has been the best 3 years of my life! We have done so much! Graduated college, had a child and a lot of other really fun things! I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband. Zach is so kind and thoughtful and just a great guy! We love doing things together and enjoy each others company! I never thought that I could be so blessed and so happy! I have an amazing husband and a beautiful, healthy baby girl! Zach and I went to Ninja for lunch, I had sushi (not to bad) and then we went to Blindside! It was a great movie! I can't wait to see it again, so if you haven't seen it go! Anyways, I just thought I better let Zach know that I love him greatly and I love being married to my best friend! These are just a few pictures from the first day of marriage until a few months ago! Well it was our year to go to Denver be with the Vernon's. It was Taytum's first road trip and she did amazing! I don't know why we are so blessed to have an amazing baby that sleeps good, eats good, and is just so so beautiful! I am amazed every day at how much she grows and how much my love for her grows! I am so blessed to have such a beautiful family! Anyways Denver was super fun! It was great to be with Zach's side of the family. They are such great people! Thanks Cara and Wil for having all 20 of us!

So Taytum has finally arrived! November 5th at 8:08 p.m. weighing 8 pounds 11 ounces and 21 inches long! She has a ton of hair and is even more beautiful than I could ever have imagined! Zach and I are so blessed to have such an amazing Spirit enter our lives! She is a great baby, sleeping most of the time (I think she gets that from me!). She is just so amazing and wonderful! When she is awake she is so calm and pleasant! We couldn't ask for more! So here are some pictures of our little Taytum! As you can see dad is already sleep deprived! haha

So these are just the pictures to go along with my previous post. Our summer was great! We spent a lot of time playing which is always good. I am currently in my 5th week of student teaching at Cedar High! It's kinda weird to be back here as a teacher but I have enjoyed it thus far. Zach just got a new job at Diamond Ranch Academy and seems to enjoy it so far. It is with troubled youth. I think he will do a great job because he loves to help people. Our baby girl Taytum is coming soon, approximately 6 weeks! She is getting really big, or I am getting really big, but she moves a lot and I am so excited to meet her! We have everything pretty much ready to go, now we will just wait til she decides to come. I am hoping she will decide sooner than later! Pregnancy has been a great and terrible thing. I love the miracle that is happening in my belly but the emotional rollocoaster is a little trying at times. Anyways that is enough about that! Hope all is well with everyone else!

Summer where have you gone!

So a lot has happened since I last blogged! I am still pregnant with a girl for approximately 12 more weeks. I have been very blessed with a healthy baby so far and I have also felt really good most of the time. It is however getting very difficult to sleep! And everyone that knows me knows I don't do well without my sleep. Zach is in his masters program that took up a lot of his summer. I will start student teaching at CHS on August 31st. Zach and I went to California with JaCoy and her family. We had a great time. I took pictures but now I can't find my camera so as soon as I do I will add those. JaCoy and her kids were in Cedar for about 7 weeks. It was fun to have them, I only wish they lived closer. So summer has flown by and now back to school one last time for me.
On July 23rd my Grandpa Rowan passed away from a lot of different things. It was a little unexpected but luckily he was only sick for about a month. He was a wonderful Grandpa who loved us and supported us in all that we did. I doubt I will ever meet anyone with his sense of humor and wit. I loved him dearly and will miss him.
So our summer has come and gone with a lot of fun things. We went to the lake a few times and the mountain and I have great pictures of all of those as soon as I find my camera! So hope all is well with everyone else.

So yeah I am a slacker when it comes to blogging. I always look at everyone's and I get mad when they haven't updated them but here I am updating only every month or so.

Zach and I went to Hawaii on May 22nd for a week with Dean and Sue. It was our graduation gift! We had a great time. We stayed on the island of Kaui (not sure if that's how it's spelled) for the week. We went snorkling, on the catameran, and all sorts of other stuff. So here's a few pictures!

So yeah today is kind of a big day for Zach and I, we get to find out what gender our baby is! I am 20 weeks, yesterday so half way there! I had gained 1 pound up to week 16 and I will shortly find out that I gained a bunch more this month! haha It's crazy how much this little baby can already eat!

Well yesterday was a great day! Zach and I both graduated from Southern Utah University! Zach received his Bachelor's in Business Management and I got mine in Chemistry Education! We are so grateful to be done and for all of the love and support that our friends and family showed us! We love you all and thank you for all that you do!

Easter and Baby Vernon

So for Easter weekend Zach and I and the Fox's went to Hatch, Utah! How exciting! haha It actually was a great time! We were able to see Dave and Britt and all the kids! They are so much fun! On friday we went over to Duck Creek and stayed with my brother Wade and his wife Sarah at her family cabin! It is such an amazing place! We went snowmobiling and sledding and just hung around being entertained by Lilah! She has gotten so big so fast!

About 6 weeks ago I took a pregnancy test and it said I was pregnant but I didn't really want to make a big deal about it until we had gone to the doctor. I can't figure out how to flip this picture but it says I'm pregnant! hahaha So we went yesterday and sure enough there is definately something in there! We got to hear the heart beat and then get an ultrasound! The baby looked like a bean with arms and legs. It started to move like crazy and I think that is when it hit us both a little. It is crazy how amazing the baby is already! So anyways I am due October 28th, I am hoping a little before that because I really don't love Halloween and I don't really want to have a baby on Halloween. But I suppose if the baby is healthy I really could care less when it decides to get here! Zach and I are very excited and very nervous. So yeah we are also both graduating in May! Hallelujah! We can't wait! Then I will go to Maymester block and Zach is getting his MBA but still a bachelor's is a good thing for us! Anyways hope all is going well with everyone else! We appreciate and love all of our family and friends and thank you for the love and support you give us!

Spring Break where have you gone?

Well we had a great Spring Break. Zach and I went to Las Vegas with our friends Ben and Sutton! We did tons of fun things and laid out a little. Unfortunately my skin is refusing to tan but it still felt nice. Before Spring Break we went snowboarding and then went to Vegas with warm weather and now we are back and it is snowing! I am not too excited about that. Anyways everything is going great and I actually have pictures this time! So here goes...

Well I have definately been a slacker in the blog area. But a lot has happened. Zach turned 24 last Thursday! We went snowboarding and had Chicken noodle soup. It was a lot of fun! We had a Family party on Sunday, but I didn't take any pictures of any of it! hahaha
Well we have been super busy with school and work. I am coaching the sophomores at Cedar High! It is a great time! All the girls are great and work hard and we have a lot of fun. Our last game is tomorrow against Hurricane and then the varsity will have a state playoff game this weekend. Other than that not much else is going on. Next time I will put pictures on the blog. Anniversary @ Christmas!

Well December 21st was our 2 year anniversary! Crazy how time flies. It was a wonderful day but I prefer it not being on a Sunday. My whole family came to town so we had a nice diner down at my parents. Zach and I have been tending my niece, Lilah, a couple of times so I decided I better get some pictures! We also sold our dog Dozer because we decided he needed more attention and we couldn't give him that. It was super sad but 5 little kids got him for Christmas so hopefully he is happy!

Every year we have a big Christmas Eve party at the church. It is so fun to be with family and friends. The food is always amazing to. My nephews all got Air Jordans on Christmas Eve and they were so excited. It reminded me of when I was a little younger and that's all I ever wanted. I am so grateful that my family could all come! It is so good to be together!

Zach and I got each other snowboards for Christmas and we are so excited to use them. So if anyone likes to snowboard give us a call!

So basically I have been slacking on the whole blogging thing. This month has been so crazy busy that I haven't had much time to take any pictures but I figured I could write a little. Well a couple things have happened, I am now a brunette, we sold our dog, and I am coaching basketball at Cedar High! So yeah life is always busy. Zach and I are excited for the Christmas break and our 2 year anniversary! I cannot believe it has been that long! I just have to say that he is seriously the best husband in the world! I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Lately we have been able to tend my niece Lilah! Wow what a cute little girl. I seriously love watching her! My dad blessed her last Sunday and it was so amazing. I am so grateful for my family and how amazing they are. I love them all so much and appreciate all that they do! I just wish I could see everyone more! Anyways now I have a little bit of a break from school I will get some pictures up. Hope everyone is doing good and enjoys the holiday season as much as I do!

Last week we had a little get together and had a BBQ and carved pumpkins. I was so glad that everyone could come! We had a ton of fun so I hope all of you did too! Zach did most of the carving because he is a lot better at things that take detail!! I really think that the creativity gene skipped right over me. Oh well at least one of us is crafty!
